What is your ecological footprint?

Alma offers ecoscored dishes in its 11 student restaurants and foodcorners: the Alma Eco-Score. A first in Belgium.

Ecoscore is a comprehensive rating system that estimates the environmental impact of food production. Based on an ecological database, it calculates the impact of how ingredients are grown on our planet.

You can recognise the Alma Eco-Score by the familiar coloured letter labels A, B, C, D and E, with a 'food touch'. A dish marked with ecoscore A has minimal impact while ecoscore E stands for maximum scope. This system allows you to make informed decisions about your meal choices.

We are proud of this move towards more sustainable food and hope our customers will join us in reducing our collective impact on the environment. At Alma, we believe that small changes can make a big difference and we are determined to do our bit to create a more sustainable future.

The Alma Eco-Score applies in all our student restaurants and food corners. With an informative campaign in the restaurants and on social media, we hope to convince as many people as possible.
