Alma is evolving! Here’s what’s changing soon thanks to student and staff feedback:

  • More vegetables – We’re introducing an extra weekly vegetable to the menu, allowing you to freely choose which veggie to have with your meal. If a dish comes with broccoli but carrots are available as a second option, you can swap them. Additionally, you can always ask for extra vegetables with your meal for 1,40 euros per portion.
  • Coleslaw without dressing – We received feedback that coleslaws always had dressing. From now on, you can choose a salad without dressing at no extra cost. This is available, for example, with the salads served with vol-au-vent, where undressed salads will always be ready.
  • More variety in the menu – We are changing the menu structure per weekday so that you have more options on your regular Alma day. Additionally, we’re launching new menu items soon, including a famous Alma fish burger.
  • More variety in snacks – We noticed a high demand for veggie sausage rolls and other snacks. These are now available in the sandwich corners, and we’re expanding the selection to other Alma locations as well.
  • More veggie/vegan options – We are working together with KU Leuven and organizing focus groups to better align our offerings with your preferences.
  • More information on meat components – Until now, we’ve only indicated whether a meal contains meat. Soon, we will specify the different types of meat in each dish so you know exactly what you’re eating.
  • Extended opening hours – Alma Quadrivium and Alma De Valk are now open earlier for breakfast. We are also evaluating whether further extensions are needed.
  • Study spaces in Alma – Many students requested that Alma remain open throughout the day as a study space. From now on, all Alma locations will be available for studying between classes.

Stay tuned for updates and enjoy the new changes at Alma.
